It has come to my attention that the picture on my profile was, well, too small to see. This was not intentional but merely the result of my inability to figure out what exactly this thing called a jpeg is and how it works. I have replaced it with a picture of a dachshund that shares my first name, admittedly not much more helpful. So, for the curious...

Oh, the dogs not bad looking either. I wouldn't want to offend her.
Dachshunds are easily offended. It's always good to be careful!
My mother says she wants one for her next pet, abandoning the family tradition of big dogs. Knowing my aunt's pair, I'm skeptical.
I am partial to big dogs (favorite breed=Bernese Mountain Dog) but, as small dogs go, dachshunds, esp. longhaired, can be quite nice.
